Festival (Main Event) – Sunday, October 12, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Bread Camp (2-day hands-on sourdough workshop for 10 participants) – Saturday, October 11, 2:00–6:00 PM & Sunday, October 12, starting at 10:30 AM. Space is limited to 10 participants. Register at goldenloaf@montereygrainfestival.com

Description:
The Monterey Grain Festival is an all-day, family-friendly harvest celebration centered on bread, community, and seasonal traditions. The day includes:
Bread Camp Demonstrations – Fresh loaves from the outdoor oven, ready to sample at 12:30 PM.
Potluck Stew Lunch – Seasonal stews served at 1:00 PM. Bring a dish to share (please let organizers know what you’re cooking at goldenloaf@montereygrainfestival.com).
Butter Aerobics – A lively workout that churns cream into butter. Free with registration (email goldenloaf@montereygrainfestival.com).
Kids’ Activities – Make stick bread over a wood fire, plus games like Flying Apples, Grain-Sack Races, and Pin the Tail on the Donkey.
Additional Information:
Cost: Free and open to all, supported by the Monterey Cultural Council.
Registration required for Bread Camp and Butter Aerobics.
