       Monterey Grief WorkshopMonday, November 10, 5:30 PM The Monterey Community Center, in partnership with the Council on Aging (COA), is hosting an introductory grief workshop with Lara Bolger, Bereavement Coordinator from HospiceCare in the Berkshires. This informational session will explore the grief process, including what to expect and strategies for coping. Light refreshments will be provided by the COA. All ages are welcome.

       Hunter Andrus in Concert – MCC Coffeehouse SeriesFriday, December 5, 7:00 PM (Doors open 6:30 PM) Monterey native Hunter Andrus brings his deep passion for bluegrass to the MCC for an evening of acoustic bluegrass music and community connection. Enjoy a cozy, up-close concert experience as Hunter demonstrates his flat-picking guitar technique and performs songs that reach back into tradition. Dessert-style refreshments, coffee, and tea will be served. Free admission, but space is limited — please register via Eventbrite to reserve your seat.

This Study & Participation Meeting includes readings from M.A. materials and time for sharing experience, strength, and hope. Monterey MA is open to all orientations and backgrounds, with the only requirement being a desire to stop using marijuana. The group follows the 12 Steps based on Alcoholics Anonymous.

This meeting offers a safe, anonymous space for those seeking understanding, strength, and encouragement from others who share similar experiences. Join us for support and fellowship in a compassionate environment. 
Plan an Event
The Community Center is available for birthday parties and other events. There is no charge to Monterey residents who clean up afterwards. For out of towners, there’s a $50 fee. If you plan to serve beer or wine, you will need a one day alcohol permit from the Town of Monterey Select Board. We recommend starting the process 45 days in advance. Instructions and an application form can be found here.

Monterey Pantry Pickup
Saturdays, 10 - 11 AM in the Monterey UCC church basement. The pantry serves residents of New Marlborough and Sandisfield as well as Monterey.
To donate canned goods, please leave them in the Monterey UCC church basement any time during daylight hours except during Pantry Pickup hours. Especially appreciated are cans of tuna, soups, beans, fruits, vegetables, but not anything that has been opened or expired. montereypantry@gmail.com, 413.429.4254
