Description:
Join John Wheeler, founder of the Berkshire Mycological Society and a lifelong mushroom hunter, for a morning of forest exploration and fungi discovery. We’ll begin at the Monterey Community Center, where you'll receive the secret walk location before we head out.

This guided walk combines hands-on learning with a bit of mystery—expect a delightful journey into the world of mushrooms in a serene forest setting.

What to Bring & Wear:

• Sturdy walking shoes

• Mosquito protection (repellent or suitable clothing)

• A collecting basket (and optionally, any mushrooms you'd like identified)

• Comfortable outdoor attire appropriate for the terrain

Carpooling encouraged—spaces are limited and parking is tight.
