Paint with Ink (Sumie) with Michelle Arnot

Description:
Join Michelle Arnot for a hands-on workshop in sumie, the traditional Japanese ink painting and calligraphy technique. Participants will learn brush techniques while creating their own artwork, including New Year’s cards (nengajo) for the Year of the Horse. Michelle will provide subjects for the group to copy, making this a welcoming workshop for all skill levels.

What to Bring & Wear:

  • Comfortable clothing suitable for painting

  • Enthusiasm and creativity! (all materials provided)
