Understanding Bird Behavior

Schedule: Sunday, August 23, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Location: Monterey Community Center
Description: Discover the fascinating world of our local feathered neighbors! We are excited to welcome back Senior Teacher Naturalist Nicaela Haig from Mass Audubon for an immersive 90-minute workshop. The program begins with a 45-minute indoor presentation on bird behavior followed by a 45-minute guided walk on the community center grounds to observe activity in the field.

Whether you are a lifelong birder or just curious about the wildlife in your backyard, this session will provide unique insights into how birds interact with their environment. Mass Audubon will provide 20 pairs of binoculars for participants to use during the outdoor portion of the program. 🦜🌳
